The Map Tools
Identify - The Identify Tool is used to find
information or details about the various map symbols displayed on the
map. To identify a feature, select the Identify tool and then click
on the feature on the map. A
window will display featuring information about the symbol.
Zoom In - The Zoom In
Tool is used to zoom into an area on the map to inspect in greater detail.
Click the Zoom In tool and hold and drag the mouse over the location on
the map to zoom in. The map view redraws and the extent is shown
in greater detail.
Zoom Out - The Zoom Out Tool is used to zoom out
and view a larger area of the map. Click the Zoom Out tool and then hold
and drag the mouse over the location to zoom out. The map view redraws
with less detail and larger geographical area.
Statewide - The Full Extent Tool is used to
see the entire map view again. Click the Full Extent tool to zoom
out to the previous selected geographic extent.
Pan - The Pan
Tool is used to shift to a new area on the map. Click the Pan tool and
then click the location on the map to shift the view to the chosen area.
Clicking a different area on the map will redraw the map to the new centered
location.
Panning around the map can also be done by clicking on the arrows around
the border of the map. The
map view will shift in the selected direction and redraw.

Other Tools

Print Map - Selecting the "Print
Map" button displays a printable map of the current view.
A text
box is displayed for entered a custom title for the map. Click
okay after you have entered the title. To
print the map, click on the print map icon.
You
will be directed to your default printer to print the map.

Refresh Map - The "Refresh
Map" button refreshes the map view.

Clear Map - Selecting the "Clear
Map" button will clear any selections made on the map page.
